What's the difference between a Fulton Armory M14 Rifle and a Springfield, Inc. M1A®?

I have just orderd a M1A Super match I have read your article on the M14. Is the gun I orderd going to be as good as an M14 or would it be cheeper for me to build a M14? Would like to hear your comments on this. I loved shooting these gun at a show put on by Springfield and got to shoot their guns, it was great and that is why I had to get one. THANKS. --Paul

New Fulton Armory M14 Rifles and Rifle Kits with Fulton Armory's new M14 Receiver!

Paul, the differences between a "Super Match" from Springfield, Inc. and a Fulton Armory M14 custom rifle are threefold.

First, genuine USGI parts are used by Fulton Armory in building its rifles. S, Inc. is a mass producer greatly affected by the drying up of genuine USGI parts. S, Inc. has therefore been forced by circumstances to commission and use an extremely high proportion of repro parts, mostly castings.

Second, as Fulton Armory builds custom rifles one-at-a-time, your Fulton Armory M14 rifle can be tailored to exactly your needs and desires. You can get just want you want, and decline what you don't. You get it your way.

Third, each Fulton Armory M14 rifle is lovingly hand-crafted by a master armorer who is building not just a rifle but a work of art that will be an heirloom you'll want to pass down through your family.

I hope that explains the differences.

Thanks for your very kind business!
