The information presented here is a faithful reproduction of the original 1965 U.S. Army Field Manual. The only deviation from the original format is that some of the graphics are from other sources due to the poor quality of the pictures in the original manual. Non-original graphics are were taken from "The Fighting GARAND", Owners Manual" by Nolan Wilson, and "The M1 Rifle", by The NRA - An American Rifleman reprint.
